This is the position for you! Frank Gay Commercial Services seeks a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated HVAC/R Service Team to help deliver great service to our clients in the Central Florida Area!

Responsibilities:

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance 
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

What you will do:

The HVAC Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming building automation control systems while providing top-tier customer service for all internal and external customers.

The HVAC Controls Technician will utilize their knowledge of HVAC systems, control devices, basic computer operations, electronics, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, direct digital controls, airflow, hydronic systems, IT networking, and building control techniques.

Perform job start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting for HVAC control systems.

Perform wiring checkout and assist in automation system start-ups utilizing commissioning tools.

Complete adjustments/calibrations and submit reports on automation systems.

Perform control system repairs to building systems such as air handler's controls, room controls, chilled water controls, and issues related to the building automation system as well as make repairs to equipment.

Continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and condition

Organize and comply with all pertinent documentation needed daily/weekly/monthly to manage the business-required reports successfully.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need:

Minimum of 8 years of HVAC control experience

HVAC Control Systems:

Knowledge of HVAC includes understanding, communicating, and dealing effectively with vendors and contractors.

Strong knowledge and experience in reading and understanding HVAC plans.

Excellent administrative and organizational skills, expert in communication, writing, and documentation abilities

Familiarity with OSHA, state and local building and fire codes, and inspection processes

Strong time management & organizational skills and the ability to prioritize wisely.

Service Titan experience a plus

REQUIREMENTS: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
